Locomotive Engine
About ten years ago there was a strong interest in building a diagnostic system that would augment the skills of Locomotive Technicians. This diagnostic prototype was built and accepted but the overall project was terminated.
The Locomotive Engine classifier is shown here as a simple example of the application of the DXpress Solution Series to an electro-mechanical system.
Similar systems have been built to augment the skills of Engineers and Technicians in Automotive, Aerospace and Primary Metals industries.
